Hot Chocolate Talisker Recipe That You Can't Help But Love!
You don’t need a reason or a season to have some hot chocolate. You could be snuggled up in your bed watching a movie or cheating on your gym routine while imagining your gym instructor judging you! I mean, it’s an understatement to say that we love ourselves a good hot chocolate!
And, when that’s the case, I thought why not bring out our old hot chocolate recipe and get creative with it? All you have to do is add Talisker whisky to it. I bet the rich cocoa flavours mixed with the smokey tones of Talisker will hit you right in the feels!
Talisker Hot Chocolate
Creamy, chocolaty and tasty, I bet you will like this recipe a ‘choco-lot!’
Ingredients
50ml Talisker 10 Year Old
2tbsp dark chocolate powder
125ml oat milk
10ml sugar syrup
Toasted large marshmallows, for garnish
Method
In a milk frothing jug, add all the ingredients except the marshmallows.
Heat the mix and then pour into a mug.
Garnish with marshmallows.
In case you’re wondering how to make oat milk
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
4 cups water
1 pinch salt
15 ml maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
Method
In a blender, add oats, water, salt, maple syrup, vanilla extract and cocoa powder. And, blend until well mixed.
Transfer to a sealed container and refrigerate for 5 days.
Shake well before using and enjoy!
