We all love sipping on some tasty cocktails, be it any season or reason. And, now that Thanksgiving is just around the corner, we have one more reason to celebrate!
I mean, aren’t Thanksgiving parties just the best? You get to have some of that delish roasted turkey, amazing pecan pies and not to forget, festive whisky cocktails! But let’s be honest, you only love one when you’re attending one.
When it comes to throwing a Thanksgiving party, all of us turn into Monica from Friends (if you know what I mean!) Super competitive, cooking 97936 things at once while stressing whether or not guests will arrive on time (kyuki traffic bohot hai). Till the time you even think of cocktails, it’s too late!
Don’t stress, here are a few easy Thanksgiving cocktails that you can quickly mix for your guest. Easy to make and delightful in taste, your guests will simply love these!
1. Classic Hot Toddy
You know how they say? Old is gold!
Ingredients
50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
25ml Lemon juice
15ml honey
Pinch powdered cinnamon
Pinch powdered ginger
2 cloves
Cinnamon stick/ star anise, for garnish
Water
Method
Add all ingredients in a pre-warmed glass. Stir.
Garnish and enjoy!

2. Apple Cider Old Fashioned
Want to end your party on an “appy” note? Try this apple cider old fashioned already!
Ingredients
60ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
1 tsp maple syrup
¼ cup apple cider
3 drops of bitters
1 orange slice, for garnish
1 apple slice, for garnish
Cinnamon stick, for garnish
Ice
Method
In a cocktail glass, mix apple cider, Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky, maple syrup and bitters.
Top it with ice and garnish it with an orange slice, apple slice and a cinnamon stick.

3. Cranberry Cinnamon Whisky Sour
Eat, drink and cranberry!
Ingredients
180ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
½ cup lemon juice
¼ orange juice
¼ lime juice
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
2 cups fresh cranberries
Method
In a pan, add cranberries, water, sugar, cinnamon stick. Boil. Bring it to simmer and keep stirring until the cranberries have burst open. Strain the syrup in a large bowl.
Add simple syrup, whisky, lemon juice, orange juice and lime juice along with ice and shake in a cocktail shaker.
Take out 4 cocktail glasses and serve!

4. Apple Cider Whisky Smash
This drink has all the in-cider deets!
Ingredients
30ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
120ml apple cider
15ml lemon juice
Mint Sprig
Method
In a cocktail shaker, add ice, whisky, lemon juice, and apple cider. Shake.
Pour the drink into a cocktail glass!
