2. Radhika Vaz
Radhika is known for her outspoken voice, she is one of the most recognised faces of stand-up comedy. Her comedy specials ‘Unladylike’ and ‘Older. Angrier. Harrier’ have been extremely popular amidst young audience. Her Twitter account has a lot of one-liners that will make you LOL.

4. Aditi Mittal
Aditi Mittal is one of the first women to do stand-up comedy in India. I don’t know what gets me more – her Dr. Lutchuke, the Marathi Sexologist or Dolly Khurana, a quintessential Chandigarh Bollywood ‘straglar’ who divides her time equally between “threading eyebrows and knuckles”.
While both her characters’ careers seem like she picked them out in a lucky draw, her real-life career, as a result, seems like destiny! Apart from the two YouTube channels that she runs, she can now be spotted keeping audiences across the country in splits at her stand-up gigs.
5. Sumukhi Suresh
If you are her fan, chances are that you haven't missed ‘A Woman's Besties’ series which features Sumukhi as the Vagayenti. Before taking up comedy as a full-time profession, she was a part of improvisational comedy club called ‘The Improv’, wherein she performed about 100 shows domestically along with a few sessions in Dubai and Sweden. These days Sumukhi's audiences are looking forward to her web series ‘Beauty and Feast’.
6. Punya Arora
Laughing at baseless stereotypes comes easy to her. She has made a career out of it, making everyone notice her but also pay close attention to what she has to say. A stand-up comedian, a professional photographer, and teacher by passion and profession, Punya Arora rules the world, one step at a time.
7. Mallika Dua
The latest sensation in the comedy world! In a very short period of time, she has gained huge popularity for her super funny Snapchat characters ‘Make-up Didi’. 8. Sonali Thakker
Sonali Thakker had given her chartered accountancy exam and while she awaited her results, she found her passion – comedy. She began with open mics and also worked as a freelance writer. Her community didn’t approve of her choice of career. Yet, she is a full-time comic now.
She has a one-hour special performance known as ‘Almost There’, with which she has gone to various cities in the country and performed. She says, she chose that name in particular because each time someone asked her if it was ready, she would reply with an 'Almost There'.
Getting up on the stage and facing the bright lights can be a daunting task and no one does it better than these kickass ladies.
