TAKE A CUE FROM THESE PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO #BALANCEFORBETTER

SW

Finding balance does not always have to be a life-changing move. Sometimes even the small things count. Wondering what that means? Here’s a glimpse of how people #BalanceForBetter in every way they can.

Harsh Songra, Founder & CEO, My Child & We, Included
“There are many individuals who are doing everything they can to bring balance to the world. I do that by building cohesion around disabilities and de-stigmatising mental health.

I am a 22-year-old college dropout, running a tech company. I am the CEO & Founder of MyChild App & We, Included. We help the world understand how people with disabilities live. Because as Dr. Hawking once said, ’There should be no boundaries to human endeavour. However bad life may seem, there is always hope.’ I live by this quote.

I believe, I am responsible for making the world a better and more inclusive place by the work that we do.”

Almas Virani, Founder Xpress Her
“We have 2 forces within us – Darkness and Light, and what you feed and focus on will grow. My message to everyone is let’s choose Light. The fact that I can use the gift of my voice to spread love and light in this world makes me happy. I train and coach corporates and individuals to help them achieve their goals, aspirations and help them find happiness in life. I am a Corporate trainer, Motivational Speaker and Transformational Coach.

I am blessed to live a life of purpose. Life is a continuous celebration and I want to cherish every moment to the fullest. So many of us die with the music in our hearts. I am grateful that I get to sing the tune I enjoy the most and make a living out of that.

I am also a Sufi at heart. I spend a lot of time practising the 5 Tools of JUMP – a Transformational Program that I have curated. The 5 tools are Gratitude, Surrender, Beingness, Faith and Love.
My day includes a dose of gratitude and meditation five times a day, expanding my awareness through my senses and filling my heart with the love for the Divine. Books, Music and hugs from my little one fill up my world.”

Shreya Prakash, Co-Founder FlexiBees
“I believe that in life whatever I do, I must do with full passion and doggedness. There are no half-measures for me. I wholeheartedly use this dedication to bring balance to every woman’s life. Through my start-up venture, I help create a flexible working ecosystem for them so that they can feel fulfilled both professionally and personally and have sustainable high-impact careers.

Everything we do via FlexiBees is meant to create balance. We are trying to create a working environment where no woman has to choose between work and life, office and home, financial independence and family. We want to dissolve these rigid boundaries and mould work to shape around a woman’s life in such a way that it lets her do justice to everything she cares about.

The idea of creating impact, changing something entrenched for the better, doing new things as part of the start-up journey, is what makes me happy.”
