Everything’s On Point At Juhu’s Pepper And Pint

Pepper and Pint: Because A Little Bit Of Masala Makes Everything Better

Kuch bhi kaho, there’s nothing like Indian food! Thoda chatpata, thoda masaledar and with a little tadka, it’s full-on mazedaar! And if you’re craving for Indian food along with a few fusion delicacies, I’ve got just the right place in mind, it’s called Pepper and Pint.

Located in Juhu, this not-so-little place gives out a warm and cosy vibe. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy your evening with some scrumptious food and some really innovative cocktails.

As soon as I entered this place, I was in awe of the well-stocked bar and the decor. Tiny cycles with baskets of streamers coming out of the wall, the wooden shelves adorned with books and potted plants and a big screen playing Bollywood numbers, zindagi mein aur kya chahiye?

Blueberry Cheesecake In A Glass

True to its name, it’s literally blueberry cheesecake in a glass with a twist of Smirnoff vodka. Yep, dessert just got better! This creamy-berry concoction with blueberry jam in the bottom and powdered chocolate on top. Sounds yum, right? Well, it was!

There are two things I love in this world
Coffee
Hazelnut
Now, imagine these two coming together in a glass blended with your favourite Johnnie Walker whisky. Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about!

Paan-Tini A.K.A Khaike Paan Banaraswala

Prawn Rawa Fry Apple Walnut Slaw

When in a dilemma, just order seafood. Okay, at least that’s what I do. I mean, you can never go wrong with prawns, right? Especially if it’s done in the Konkan style, you know, fried with all the masalas and coated with rawa, which makes it all crunchy! What’s more? It comes with a side of thecha and green apple with walnut slaw. So, you’ve got crispy, spicy and tangy all on one platter. This is the kind of starter we all need in our lives.

Kerala Style Chicken Pepper Fry Taco

The juiciest pieces of chicken, marinated in masalas and tossed in pepper, with a little bit of garlic, wrapped in soft shell tacos hits all the right spots. It’s a burst of flavours which leaves you with a peppery aftertaste. Super filling, super delicious, this dish is my new favourite for sure!

Chicken Cordon Bleu With Mashed Potatoes And Veggies

What is this bleu which sounds like blue? Here’s a fun fact: It literally means blue ribbon. The chefs who first made the cordon bleu wore a blue apron which also means royalty. This simple meal used to spell sophistication in those days, it actually still does. Chicken breasts baked with salt, pepper, butter and cheese is soft inside and crispy outside. It’s served with mashed potatoes and veggies. So, if you want to feel fancy, you know what to order!

Apple Jalebi With Rabdi

Apple jalebi kabhi suna hai kya? To be honest, I think I overate. Do I regret? NO. But then, dessert toh banta hai! When I skimmed through the menu I stumbled upon something called Apple Jalebi, intriguing right? So, I went ahead and ordered it. And here’s what it looked like…
