We Dare You To Stop Playing At Smaaash!

Neha D'Souza
 It's Time To Have A Smaaash-ing Experience!

While everyone around you is asking you to grow up, Smaaash is probably the only place that lets you be you! Yep, time to unleash your inner child and just be yourself.
If you don’t already know about this epic place, let me enlighten you. Smaaash, nestled in Kamala Mills, Lower Parel is a fun-filled destination for everyone. Seriously, age no bar! So, if you feel like you ‘can’t adult today’ just take your friend along (like I did) and go play.

1

It offers you a spectacular range of games, from multi-level sky karting to interactive virtual reality games and for all the cricket lovers, there’s Smaaash cricket. That’s right! It’s time to keep your phones aside and un-stream from the mainstream.

What’s more? Okay, the list is quite long but I’ll tell you anyway.
Feel like playing a soccer game? There’s super keeper.
Love bowling? Try out the Twilight Bowling
Want to just jump around like how you used to when you were younger? Trampoline Park!
Yes, you name it, you play it!

Wait wait, the list isn’t over yet! There’s Finger Coaster, Dodge Ball, Fly Max, Vertigo - Walk the Plank, X2 Motor Racing Simulator, XD- XTREME Interactive Theater and Smart Arcade.

So, since this was my first time at Smaaash, I decided to take one step at a time. Literally!

1

Yep. I took part in a dance-off. As you can see, I’m clearly a pro *Wink wink*
Right next to it, I saw people trying out some really cool stuff which made me go like “Is this real-life or is this virtual reality?” I mean, you’re there, but you’re not there. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?

1

After that crazy virtual reality experience, it was time for the pins to get bowled over. I’m really good at bowling. Don’t believe me? Wait, here’s proof.

1

Okay, I wasn’t that great at it, but I had fun! And that’s what Smaaash is all about you know, just let go and have a good time!
Now, it was time for some basketball, but I think they should call it shooting for the stars because I just cannot make it to the basket! So, I just watched my friend play.

So, after playing all these games, it was time to take a break from the break. Yeah, you guessed it right, it was time for some cocktails and food!

Cosmopolitan
When it comes to cocktails, you can never go wrong with the classics. Cosmopolitan, made with vodka, triple sec, cranberry and lime juice has always been my favourite. What’s yours?

1

Whisky Sour
What’s not to love about whisky sour? I mean, lime juice, sugar, your favourite whisky with a dash of egg white coming together just for you!

Now that we’re done with cocktails it’s time for some food!

Pasta Arabiatta
The food menu here is simplicity at its best! After all that gaming, I sure was hungry and after all those failed attempts at basketball, enough time had passed - hence pasta. But on a serious note, I loved the pasta here. It’s the right amount of tanginess with a little bit of spice. One might even call it a bowl of comfort.

Tandoori Cheese Lollipops
These tandoori chicken drumsticks are topped with grated cheese and served with coleslaw and pudina chutney. Remember those times when we were younger and we used to crave for chicken tandoori? Yeah, this felt like home.

After visiting Smaaash, I’m pretty sure this is going to be my weekend adda. It’s fun, it’s refreshing and I can’t stop playing!
