We can never forget how Kangana played the role of a schizophrenic with such impeccable brilliance. She got into the skin of the character of a tormented and vulnerable girl and through her superlative performance made us see how she fought the demons inside her.

Even though this musical drama had an ensemble cast, Kangana held her own in the movie. This isn’t a small feat when you have stalwarts like Kay Kay Menon sharing the screen space with you. Kangana went on to receive slews of critical acclaim for her role in the movie.

Kangana received the National Award for this movie. Need we say more? Not only did she nail the role of a badass model but she brought to light the dark side of glamour.
