Nonsensical Bollywood Movies That Made Us Wonder 'Script Kahan Hai'
There are good movies and bad movies. And then, there are movies that make you wonder, "What in the world were the filmmakers thinking when they made this?" Bhaisahab, hume bhi aisa (over)confidence chahiye life me. But, however bad these movies may be, one can’t deny the thrill you get out of judging the horrendous acting or going hysterical over the nonsensical plots.
Bollywood is a treasure trove of many such gems, and we possibly can't list them all down (as entertaining as that may be). And, the next you are having a house party, you and your friends can watch these! So, here's our top 7. BRACE YOURSELF!!
1. Namaste England
This draggy snooze-fest gave us a franchise we could have clearly done without. We literally had to go back and see Namaste London again to completely wipe off any memory of this movie whatsoever. Bad acting? Bad songs? Bad storytelling? Check, check, and check!
2. Himmatwala
Yes, you need “himmat” to watch this one. This masterpiece by Sajid Khan is a remake of a movie made 30 years ago. The film has Ajay Devgn fighting off a tiger to save Tamanaah Bhatia who tried to kill Ajay with the same tiger. And in the end, when Ajay is about to be killed, the tiger saves him. Okay, we may not be making any sense right now, but so didn’t the movie.
3. Love Story 2050
Harman Baweja happens to have a time machine that he wants to use to bring back his girlfriend from the dead. But instead of going back in time, he zooms forward to 2050. Incredible, ain’t it? What we want to know is, what made Pee Cee sign this movie?
4. Tees Maar Khan
It’s safe to say that the only saving grace in the movie was Katrina’s “Sheila Ki Jawani" that woke us up from our deep slumber for a few minutes. It was quite a challenge to sit through the whole movie without cringing.
5. Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag
Nobody could digest the fact that Amitabh Bachchan who played the iconic ‘Jai’ in the original played the villain in this Sholay remake. This movie made no sense thanks to the terrible acting. There was definitely no ‘aag’.
6. Drona
We think the ‘D' in the title may have been silent here. The movie tried too hard to pass off as an adventurous superhero flick but in reality, it was just so lame that no amount of sepia tones could hide the terrible screenplay.
7. Deshdrohi
That’s right. We saved the best for the last. The ingenious actor KRK who made the ‘2-Rs people’ dialogue so famous made this horrendous film and we can’t help but laugh uncontrollably. And how can we forget, his lethal aim that can kill 3 people with one bullet? Rajnikanth, who this?
