Things We Go Through When We Bump Into Our Ex At A House Party
Well, some of you might be on good terms with your ex, while some of you may simply choose not to. If you’re on good terms with your ex, you can turn the other way. But, if you like me, are not their number one fan, I understand why.
But, have you ever thought what would you do if you had to accidentally bump into your ex at a house party? *Gosh, the nightmare*
And if you’ve ever wondered the outcome, here are all the thoughts that go through your head when you bump into your ex.
1. Spot The Ex And Think ‘Yeh Kya Kar Raha Hai Idhar’
Imagine you’re having a good time, trying the entrée, hanging out with friends, and then this happens. Oops! We bet the first thing that comes to mind is, ‘What the hell is he doing here?’
2. Avoid Ex By Hiding Behind Things
You make sure you keep an eye out on him at all times. That way you know you don’t bump into him ever. So, you try hiding behind food, pillars and sometimes even behind other people. Because, trust us, you don’t want to socialise with your ex.
3. Stuff Mouth With Food To Avoid Conversations
Having your ex in the same room can be nerve-wrecking. The mere thought of making small talk leaves us dumbfounded. And that can leave you, stuffing food in your mouth.
4. Make Up Fake Conversations In Your Head In Case You Bump Into Him
Sometimes out of sheer panic, you tend to overthink scenarios in your head. We don’t blame you. After all, you don’t want to ask him, “Hey, how you doing?” Trust me, you don’t want to know.
5. Awkward Bump In And Fake Smile
After dodging him all evening, unfortunately, you bump into him. What do you do? Try the awkward fake smile because words don’t come out of your mouth.
6. *Goes For Awkward Hug Or Shake Hand, And Bumps Heads
Let’s just say, he goes in for a hug and you decide to go for a handshake but then you decide to suddenly fist bump. Yikes!
7. Unnecessary Forced Conversations
Just when you think you’re done embarrassing yourself, you realise you have to make small talk and go – “Hey, wassup!” or “How you doing?” Forced conversations are the worst, don’t you agree?
8. *Mentally Asks Self What You Liked About Him*
Mid-conversation you realise how dumb he is. But then you realise and question yourself, “What did you like in him?” Jeez, what a waste of time!
9. *Walks Away Hoping To Never Meet Him Again*
Finally, you thank God this awful unexpected bump-in is over and hope you never have to ever meet him again.
