Whisky Sour
The smoky notes of Johnnie Walker Black Label elevate this classic cocktail’s flavours to a new height.
Ingredients
60ml Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky
22ml lemon juice
22ml 1:1 simple syrup
2 dashes aromatic bitters
1 egg white
Method:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all the ingredients.
Shake hard for around 20 seconds to mix all the ingredients.
Strain into a glass, remove the ice and shake again.
Either serve neat in a cocktail glass, or over ice in a tumbler.
White Lady
A perfect cocktail to toast to the season, this one has a way of cooling us up from the inside out!
Ingredients
50ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
25ml French orange liqueur
25ml lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup
1 egg white
Method
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake well for 10-15 seconds or until the outside of the shaker becomes frosted.
Strain into highball glass.
Vodka Coffee Eggnog
This festive sipper may look simple but here’s a catch; there are tons of flavours hiding in the glass to pass it off as a dessert cocktail.
Ingredients
50ml Smirnoff No 21 Vodka
20ml coffee liqueur
15ml double cream
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 egg
1 tsp coffee, for dusting
Method
Place ingredients in a shaker
Shake to combine all the ingredients.
Add ice to shaker, shake again, and strain into a glass.
East Meets West Sour
This sweet and sour combination of vodka and pear would make the perfect addition to your next weekend soiree or date night.
Ingredients
45ml Ketel One Vodka
20ml fresh lemon juice
20ml sugar syrup
15ml egg white
¼ pear
Grated cinnamon, for garnish
Method:
Muddle the pear in the shaker.
Add the rest of the ingredients and shake with ice.
Double strain into a chilled couple and garnish with cinnamon.
