#NogThingsUp With This Scotch-ish Twist On The Classic Eggnog Recipe
Love it or hate it, you can’t ignore a good glass ole eggnog during the festive season. It’s rich, creamy and of course egg-y. Traditionally Christmas eggnog is made with bourbon all over the world. But Scotland, the land of Scotch whisky had a different take on it, if you know what I mean.
Scotland has a special celebration on New Year’s Eve where they cheer for the end of the year with fire dancing, Scotch and this delicious egg-based drink made of, no guesses here, more Scotch!
Scotch gives this creamy eggnog drink a smoky twist that’s perfect to sip on a cold winter evening. This Sottish drink is called ‘Auld Man’s Milk’ but it’s basically eggnog made with Scotch whisky and garnished with cinnamon to #NogThingsUp and give you that rich aftertaste.
