Social Goat Loves These Trendiest Cocktails Of 2019
Classic cocktails will always have a special place in our hearts and on cocktail menus around the world. But the year 2019 saw a lot more than these traditional tipples. Bartenders are now playing around with new ingredients and never-before-heard of concepts that might actually surprise you.
We got in touch with Diageo India’s Brand Ambassadors who gave us an interesting mix of cocktail recipes they made this year. From turmeric cocktails to mushroom mixes, here are some of the trendiest cocktails we discovered in 2019.
Buttered Pineapple
A dollop of butter does not only go well with your toast but also your cocktail. Butter cocktails are made through a process of fat-washing the alcohol and then using it in the cocktail.
Ingredients
60ml Butter-washed Johnnie Walker Black Label
15ml Lime juice
15ml Sugar syrup
60ml Smoked pineapple juice (Pineapple smoked over coal like a barbeque and then juiced)
Pinch of salt
Pineapple slice and cocktail bitters for garnish
Method
Add all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake hard.
Strain it in a glass. Garnish and serve.
