These Cocktails Will Convince You The French Press Belongs In Your Bar

French Press Whisky Cocktail
This tea-tail is a delightful fruity mix, perfect for a warm sunny day or a cool rainy one too.
Ingredients:
90ml Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky
360ml Lemon Iced Tea
1 scoop Mint Tea
2 Lemons
2 Oranges
1 Lemon wedge, for garnish
Method:
Build all the ingredients in a French press.
Press the pump down and leave it raised a quarter inch below the liquid.
Let the content steep for about one minute.
When you are ready to serve, press pump completely down and pour into a cup.
Finish by garnishing with a lemon wedge.
Hot Whisky Boulevardier
This is the perfect drink to jump on to the French press cocktail bandwagon and embrace the new trend.
Ingredients:
60ml Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky
150ml Water
30ml Vermouth
1 Orange
1tsp Lemon Juice
1tsp Tarragon
4 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 Rosemary Sprigs
Lemon, for garnish
Method:
Heat whisky and vermouth on medium heat for two minutes.
Peel the skin off the orange and place into a French press.
Now, add lemon juice, tarragon and angostura bitters to the press.
Stir in the heated spirits. Then, boil water and let it cool for approximately one minute. Stir in water. Allow the mixture to steep for seven minutes.
Plunge and pour into a warmed glass.
Finish the recipe by garnishing it with rosemary sprigs and lemon. Voila!
Press Pot Whisky Sour

Ingredients:
60ml Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky
30ml Lemon Juice
20ml Simple Syrup
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 Orange Peel
Apple
1tsp Tea
1 Rosemary Sprig
Lemon Twist, for garnish
Method:
Add the whisky, simple syrup, lemon juice and Angostura bitters to a shaker with ice.
Shake vigorously.
Strain the mixture into a French press pot over the remaining ingredients.
Let it steep for a few minutes.
