There is barely an Indian who hasn’t watched the Rajkumar Hirani movie, 3 Idiots. 8. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
This biographical movie tells the story of the legendary Milkha Singh, who overcame many agonising obstacles in order to become a world champion, Olympian and one of India's most iconic athletes. It redefines the fact that hard work and dedication are the keys to success while inspiring us with the story of ‘The Flying Sikh’.
9. Guru
The protagonist of the movie essayed by Abhishek Bachchan, Gurukant Desai is a man from Gujarat, who follows his dreams to become a successful entrepreneur. Excellent performances coupled with an energetic soundtrack, make Guru more than just another rags to riches story.
10. Chak De India
Shah Rukh Khan’s performance as a former hockey star, tainted as someone who betrayed his country, made us root for him while watching this film. In order to prove his loyalty to the nation, he assembles a group of rag-tag but, talented girls to build a promising Indian women's national hockey team.
