McDowell's No1 Yaari Jam, Where Music Meets Yaari
Music and yaari go hand-in-hand! Whether you’re attending a concert or jamming, your friends make the experience better. McDowell’s No.1 Soda has always believed in this idea and now brings to you a TV show that celebrates both.
Sounds interestingly different, right?
The McDowell’s No.1 Yaari Jam TV Show is the first-of-its-kind. Sure, we’ve had celebs come on chat shows, but never before have we met musically-inclined yaars reminiscing about their musical journeys, sharing stories and jamming together, all on one platform.
Think of it as a fun TV show about some music, conversations and a whole lot of masti between these yaars.
So, without further ado, let’s get this show started already!
The McDowell’s No.1 Yaari Jam TV show takes off with a fun host duo warming up the stage. Singers Salim Merchant and Anushka Manchanda pair perfectly well, as they interview fellow singers and friends from their own music circles. Some of these yaars go years back and some we didn’t even know were friends. Either way, they now come together on this show to tell you everything you’d want to know, along with a few things that Salim and Anushka get them to reveal.
This season, we will see 10 yaars on the show. Some of them include singers we’ve known forever like Sonu Nigam and Shaan, Amit Trivedi and Amitabh Bhattacharya, Sulaiman Merchant and Raj Pandit, Jonita Gandhi and Harshdeep Kaur and some who’ve gotten popular in the last few years like Badshah and Raftaar, Amaal and Armaan Malik and many more. Now that’s a line up you don’t want to miss!
Salim and Anushka begin the show by interviewing the jodis in their first segment. Seated comfortably on the couch of the set that replicates a comfortable living room, it feels like a bunch of friends just catching up with some friendly conversation. There’s some talk about music, some joking around and a few candid moments that captures the synergy between the yaars.
After the chit chat, the show moves to the next segment, where the artists play a few games, taking the fun up a notch. And, finally, the musical pair is made to do what they enjoy doing best, jam together to a special song. A song, you’ll know about only if you keep watching.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s awaiting your attention.
Watch this show for the music, or the fun or the friendship, either way, this is an interesting new TV show to look forward to.
