4 Frozen Gin Cocktails That Will Make You Fall In Love With Slushies All Over Again
Who doesn’t like slurping on a slushie?
There’s something so satisfying about the way sweet crushed ice melts in your mouth.
But do you know what will make this already amazing drink even more ‘cooler’? A dose of gin!
It may be a little chilly but that shouldn’t stop you from trying these slushies. Or should we just go ahead and call it a frozen slushie cocktail? Wink wink
Easy to mix and even easier to sip, I bet these frozen cocktails with a twist of gin will give your taste buds the right kind of trip!

1. Watermelon Frozen Gin & Tonic
I bet all you melonnials will love this one!
Ingredients
240ml Tanqueray
500ml tonic water
6 cups frozen watermelon cubes
2-3 tbsp lemon juice
Watermelon wedges, for garnish
Method
Cut cubes of watermelon and place them in a freezer-proof tray and wait till frozen.
Add frozen watermelon, Tanqueray, tonic water and lemon juice in a blender and blend.
Pour into a cocktail glass. Garnish it with mint leaves and watermelon wedges.
2. Raspberry Gin Frozen Cocktail
If you like a good slushie ‘berry’ much then you will definitely love this one!
Ingredients
50ml Tanqueray
250ml soda water
4 tbsp lime cordial
2 lime juice only
300g frozen raspberries
Mint leaves
Method
Add all ingredients in a blender and blend till you get the desired consistency.
Pour into a cocktail glass, and enjoy!

3. Frozen Gin Fizz

Ingredients
90ml Tanqueray
½ lemon juice
1½ confectioner’s sugar
Soda water
1 cup ice cubes
Lemon wheel, garnish
Method
In a blender, add ice, Tanqueray, lemon juice, sugar and blend till smooth.
Pour the cocktail in a cocktail glass. Top it with a splash of soda and garnish with a lemon wheel.

4. Frozen Negroni Slushie
It’s ice ice baby!
Ingredients
120ml Tanqueray
80ml vermouth
80ml campari
240ml orange juice
Ginger simple syrup
Fresh orange zest, for garnish
Method
For the ginger simple syrup (if you can’t find any in the market)
Place sugar, sliced ginger, water. Boil. Then, reduce the heat.
Simmer till you get a thick consistency, remove the ginger slices and keep aside to cool.
In a freezer-safe container, mix Tanqueray, vermouth, campari, ginger syrup, and orange juice.
Freeze for 2 hours and remove. Stir and put it back in the freezer for another 2-3 hours until it forms into the slushie consistency.
Pour the drink in a cocktail glass, garnish it with oranges.
